Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026 · Effective: June 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Amajoni ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cape Town, Western Cape.

The Service

Amajoni is an AI agent security posture management platform. It connects to your cloud accounts using read-only credentials you provide, discovers AI agents and related infrastructure, scores their risk profile, and generates security and compliance reports.

The Service is provided on a subscription basis. Features available depend on your subscription plan.

Acceptable Use

You may use the Service to scan cloud accounts and domains that you own or have explicit written authorisation to scan. You may not use the Service to: scan systems without authorisation; reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the platform's source code; resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent; use the Service to conduct or facilitate attacks on third-party systems.

The domain scanner on the public homepage is intended for passive OSINT on domains you own or have been authorised to assess. You represent, by initiating a scan, that you have such authorisation.

Your Cloud Credentials

To use cloud scanning features, you must provide IAM credentials or service account permissions. By providing credentials, you represent that you have the authority to grant read-only access to the cloud account. You are responsible for the security of these credentials. We recommend creating a dedicated read-only IAM role with the minimum permissions documented in our onboarding guide.

We do not store your cloud credentials in plaintext. Cloud access uses short-lived tokens where supported by the cloud provider.

Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data generated from your cloud accounts. Scan results, agent inventories, and reports generated from your data belong to you. You grant us a limited licence to process this data to provide the Service.

We may use aggregated, anonymised data derived from the Service for product improvement and research. We will not publish data that identifies you or your organisation without your consent.

Subscription and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — we do not offer prorated refunds for partial periods.

Free trial periods do not require a credit card. At the end of a free trial, your account reverts to the Scout (free) plan unless you upgrade.

Service Availability

We aim for 99.5% monthly uptime for paid plans. Scheduled maintenance is communicated at least 24 hours in advance where possible. We are not liable for interruptions caused by third-party services (cloud providers, DNS, payment processors) or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amajoni is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: security incidents not caused by our direct negligence; inaccuracies in risk scores or reports; decisions made based on Service output.

Our total liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in that period.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to your registered address at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
